Compliance & Transaction Procedure

Trust in commodity trading is built on verification. This is how BRONCI checks every counterparty and structures every transaction.

Our Commitment

BRONCI is the trading brand of Patriotic Trade SL, a company registered in Barcelona, Spain, and operating under Spanish and European Union law.

We only work with counterparties we have verified, and only with products, origins and destinations permitted under applicable sanctions and trade rules.

Know Your Customer (KYC)

Before any commercial documents are exchanged, we verify each buyer and seller. We usually ask for:

  • Certificate of incorporation and company registration extract
  • Company address, tax identification and contact details
  • Identity of directors and ultimate beneficial owners
  • Bank details and, where relevant, a bank reference
  • Proof of authority of the person signing on behalf of the company

We check these documents against official registries and public sources. We treat all information received as confidential.

Sanctions & Anti-Money-Laundering

Every counterparty, vessel and transaction is screened against the sanctions lists of the European Union, the United Nations, the United Kingdom and the United States (OFAC). We do not trade products from sanctioned origins or with sanctioned parties, and we decline transactions where the source of goods or funds cannot be verified.

Transaction Procedure

A typical transaction follows these steps. Exact terms are agreed for each deal.

  1. Enquiry. The buyer sends its requirement: product, quantity, destination, delivery terms and timing
  2. Verification. Both sides complete KYC and sanctions screening
  3. Offer. BRONCI issues a written offer with specification, price basis, delivery and payment terms
  4. Contract. The parties sign a sales and purchase agreement (SPA)
  5. Payment instrument. The buyer's bank issues the agreed payment instrument, usually a documentary letter of credit
  6. Inspection & loading. An independent inspector confirms quality and quantity at the loading port
  7. Delivery & documents. Shipping documents are presented and payment is released under the agreed terms

Independent Inspection

Quality and quantity are confirmed by internationally recognised inspection companies such as SGS, Intertek or Bureau Veritas. Their reports form part of the shipping documents.
